Nick Viall Bachelor Announcement

Nick Viall is officially the next star of “The Bachelor.” The announcement was made on Tuesday after weeks of speculation.

Viall is a veteran of the franchise, who has appeared on “The Bachelorette” twice and on “Bachelor In Paradise.” Viall appeared on Andi Dorfman’s season and came back again for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season. In both seasons, he was the runner-up. Now, it’s Viall’s time to shine on his own as “The Bachelor.”

The veteran reality star was famously blasted after he revealed during the “After The Final Rose” special for Dorfman that they had sex in the Fantasy Suite. Dorfman was still so angry with him, she warned Bristowe about Viall when he joined the latter’s season. But Bristowe ultimately also slept with him on “The Bachelorette.” Since then, however, Viall has transformed into a lovable, yet unlucky-in-love guy, who has won over many during his current appearance on “Bachelor In Paradise.” In fact, he’s so loved now, most are rooting for Viall to finally find love as “The Bachelor.”

Production is expected to begin this fall, and the new season, the 21st for “The Bachelor,” will air on ABC in early 2017. Viall, of course, is following in the footsteps of season 20 “Bachelor” star Ben Higgins, who remains engaged to Lauren Bushnell. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Higgins and Bushnell now have an upcoming spinoff reality show, “Happily Ever After.”

For now, though, there’s “Bachelor In Paradise” for those looking for their “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” fix. Gossip Cop has recaps every Monday and Tuesday night.
