Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi are not doing a “Bachelor” spinoff show together. Gossip Cop can correct this wrong report, which was published after the couple split last week, but seemingly written before their breakup. Mostly, the claim exposes how a certain tabloid’s sources seemingly know nothing.

Life & Style contends in its new issue, “He gave her the final rose… but it wasn’t their final show. [Viall and Grimaldi] aren’t done with reality TV just yet.” A so-called “source” for the tabloid claims, “Nick and Vanessa have been hiding a secret. They’re shooting a spinoff series about their relationship. There have been rumors for months, but nobody knows that they actually signed on. They’re in L.A. and have already started filming.”

What’s more is the misguided gossip magazine alleges that “if all goes well, this could lead to a televised wedding.” Adds the outlet’s clueless snitch, “Fans want to see them live happily ever after.” Well, that bubble already burst days ago. As Gossip Cop reported, it was announced last Friday that Viall and Grimaldi called off their engagement. This story about a spinoff show building to a TV wedding is embarrassingly late, laughably wrong, and clearly fabricated.

As Gossip Cop previously noted, the reality stars said in a joint statement, “It’s with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement.” They went on to explain, “We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn’t been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other.”

Those are not the words of two people who are about to do a reality show about their relationship. In fact, Grimaldi is planning to continue living in her home base of Montreal. So these contentions about filming a spinoff in Los Angeles are utter nonsense. It’s unclear if Life & Style got duped by a bad “source” or if some of its staffers took a chance manufacturing a tall tale. The bottom line is no “Bachelor” spinoff about their romance coming to TV.
