Does Nick Jonas really have trouble finding clothes that fit his “bulging biceps”? One of this week’s tabloids claims the singer’s muscles have gotten so big that he’s tearing through his outfits like “the Incredible Hulk.” Gossip Cop can set the record straight.

Jonas put on a lot of muscle mass for his role as an MMA fighter on the TV series “Kingdom,” but according to OK!, his body transformation is literally cramping his style. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “T-shirts and other causal things are fine, but getting him into a stylish shirt or suit jacket is almost impossible. A lot of brands he likes would rip if he tried to squeeze into them.”

The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to say that Jonas can’t solve his supposed problem by going up a size because “his body’s still the same everywhere else,” aside from his large biceps. “[His stylists] are thinking they’ll have to start getting his suits and shirts custom-made,” adds the seemingly phony source.

But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the singer, who laughed off the tabloid’s tale before exclusively assuring us there’s no truth to it. This story seems to have been concocted simply because he’s embraced bodybuilding as of late. However, Jonas wore a stylish and tight-fitting suit to the premiere of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle earlier this month, and the outfit clearly didn’t rip apart.

At least this latest article is a change of pace from the usual false rumors surrounding the singer’s love life. Gossip Cop previously busted OK!’s sister publication, Star, for falsely claiming that Jonas turn down Priyanka Chopra at a Met Gala after-party. We’ve also debunked tabloid stories wrongly linking the singer to famous women such as Lily Collins and Sara Sampaio. This latest story may not throw the singer into a nonexistent romance, but it’s no more accurate.
