No. 1 seed North Carolina and No. 2 seed Kentucky are set to take the court in one of the most anticipated games. The winner of this Elite Eight matchup at the FedExForum in Memphis will advance to the Final Four. To get to here, North Carolina destroyed Southern University in the first round, outscoring their opponent 103-64. In the second round, the Tar Heels went up against Arkansas, who gave North Carolina a good game, but lost 72-65. North Carolina then faced Butler in the Sweet 16. The No. 1 seed took an early lead and never looked back in its 92-80 victory over Butler.

The road to the Elite Eight for the Wildcats began with a win against No. 15 Northern Kentucky. While it should have been a blowout, Kentucky only beats its home state rival 79-70. In the second round, the Wildcats faced Wichita State. It came down to a three-pointer by the Shockers at the end of the game that didn’t fall, and Kentucky won 65-62. From there, the Wildcats advanced to the Sweet 16 against UCLA. The matchup was close until halftime. But in the second half, Kentucky pulled away to solidly crush the Bruins 86-75.

The last time the Tar Heels and Wildcats played against each other was in December, and Kentucky won. What also makes this a great game is that Kentucky has the most NCAA tournament wins in history, followed by North Carolina with the second most victories. The Elite Eight game between the North Carolina Tar Heels and Kentucky Wildcats begins at 5:05 p.m. ET. Watch the 2017 NCAA Tournament online here! NOTE: The live stream is no longer available.
