MTV Movie TV Awards Winners

(MTV)

Sunday’s MTV Movie & TV Awards for the first time honor the best in film and television. Gossip Cop has a full list of the winners below!

Nominations for the revamped MTV Movie Awards, which were expanded to celebrate both the big and small screens, were announced last month. Get Out received the most nods, with the horror film up for recognition in seven categories. That includes one of the top prizes, Movie Of The Year. The thought-provoking flick is competing against Beauty And The Beast, The Edge Of Seventeen, Logan, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

On the TV side, the nominees for the inaugural Show Of The Year award are “Atlanta,” “Game Of Thrones,” “Insecure,” “Pretty Little Liars,” “Stranger Things,” and “This Is Us.” Among television programs, “Stranger Things” was the most nominated, racking up four nods. There’s also a few new TV-related categories this year, such as Best Host and Best Reality Competition, while others, like Best Kiss, are open to both mediums.

Most significantly, the acting awards are gender-neutral for the first time. In support of stars like Asia Kate Dillon, who is confirmed to present during the ceremony, the categories were designed to be inclusive of all identities, instead of the traditional male/female divisions. And also for the first time, the MTV Generation Award is going to an entire cast, the stars of the Fast & Furious franchise, instead of just a single star.

Gossip Cop will be updating the winners list live as each award is announced during the show, which is slated to start at 8 p.m. Eastern. In the meantime, check out all 18 categories below.
