Miranda Kerr is not "pregnant already," despite a speculative report. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.
OK! is asking in its current issue, "Miranda Pregnant Already?" According to the tabloid, Kerr and new husband Evan Spiegel are "expecting their first child together!" The couple tied the knot roughly two months ago, but allegedly reneged on a public promise to remain celibate until their nuptials.
"They kept up that facade because it was quirky and cute and helped their image. But it was an open secret in their inner circle that they were sleeping together, so no one would be shocked if she's pregnant," a so-called "source" claims to the gossip magazine, noting Kerr has "always said she wanted to expand her family" beyond 6-year-old Flynn, her son with ex Orlando Bloom.
As evidence Kerr may have a baby on board, the outlet points out she "covered her belly with a floral, tunic-style frock" at an event in mid-June. The supposed snitch maintains the model looked a "bit bigger" and had a "puffier" face. The publication's purported tipster further points out, "Miranda used to flaunt her figure a lot on Instagram or post videos of her workouts where she showed off her abs, but she hasn't done that in months."
"Everyone's suspecting she's pregnant and is expecting her to make an announcement within a couple of months," concludes the alleged "source." But while it's true Kerr has indicated that she's open to the possibility of having more children, Gossip Cop is told the timing of this story is off-base. There's "no truth" to the speculation she's currently pregnant, we've exclusively learned.
And contrary to the suggestion Kerr has avoided showing her mid-section on Instagram lately, she actually posted the below photo just days ago. OK! was also mistaken nearly a year ago when it falsely claimed Kerr received an engagement present from Katy Perry, who was dating Bloom at the time. The tabloid is often an inaccurate resource for news on many celebrities. Fans beware: Kerr is most definitely one of them.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
