A new report claims Miley Cyrus has recruited Vanessa Hudgens to join her in an alleged feud against Selena Gomez, but the story is pure fiction. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this fake news.

A so-called “insider” tells OK! that after Cyrus and Hudgens caught up at the Billboard Music Awards last month, “they plan on hanging out a lot more because the one thing they have in common is their dislike of Selena.” The outlet’s dubious source adds, “Miley and Selena have never got on [well] and have been sniping at each other for years.”

According to the magazine’s “insider,” Cyrus has a vendetta against Gomez because she “hates how Selena manipulated Justin Bieber to the point he’s nothing but a walking punch line.” The “source” goes on to purport that both Cyrus and Hudgens are “worried Selena’s going to do the same to The Weeknd, who’s so out of his depth.” The publication’s questionable insider concludes, “Selena plays all sweet and innocent, but she isn’t. She might have been Bieber’s first lover, but he wasn’t hers!”

Of course, the tabloid is very vague and nonspecific when it comes to providing details about how Cyrus and Hudgens plan to team up against their supposed rival. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Cyrus, who exclusively assures us the magazine’s article is “completely untrue.” Unfortunately, we’ve repeatedly called out OK! for publishing tall tales about all involved in this latest story.

Gossip Cop recently busted the outlet for falsely claiming Cyrus was trying to have twins with Liam Hemsworth. We also debunked the tabloid’s fake feud between Gomez and Taylor Swift. Additionally, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for wrongly reporting Hudgens refused to sing a song from High School Musical during her appearance on the “Tonight Show” earlier this year. This latest article involving all three famous names is equally phony.
