A new report about Miley Cyrus interrupting a business meeting Liam Hemsworth was having with repeated calls to bring home sushi is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop looked its this fishy story and can exclusively correct it. We’re told it’s untrue.

Star claims in an over-the-top article that “Hemsworth was trying to enjoy lunch at L.A. eatery Katsuya, but his famished fiancee came at him like a hungry wrecking ball, nagging the hunk to bring her takeout sushi.” The tabloid’s supposed source alleges, “Miley was blowing up his phone every five minutes asking for more and more things.” “Liam’s nerves were raw like yellowtail,” adds the almost assuredly fabricated tipster. According to the publication’s “spy,” at one point Hemsworth shot back, “Why don’t you just call Nobu, or some other local place near home? It’ll get there faster.”

The often discredited magazine contends that the Australian actor ultimately relented and had Katsuya “pack Miley’s grub in ice for the long drive from Studio City to Malibu.” Even though he was supposedly “exasperated,” maintains the outlet, he laughed it off. “She does this all the time, I’m used to it,” the tabloid quotes Hemsworth as saying in the restaurant.

So, when did this take place? The publication’s doesn’t mention. Who was Hemsworth meeting? Was it with one other person or a group? The outlet doesn’t say. What did he pick up for Cyrus” That’s not in the article either. There’s a good reason none of these facts were included, and that’s because the whole story was concocted by either the tabloid or a person claiming to be a source.

The lack of details and fake-sounding quotes, including “Liam’s nerves were raw like yellowtail,” naturally made Gossip Cop suspicious. Still, we looked into the fish tale, and it’s all fabricated. It never happened. A source close to the couple assures us the story is 100 percent untrue.

Gossip Cop is not entirely surprised by the falsity of Star’s article. More than a year ago, the same tabloid swore up and down that Cyrus was pregnant with Hemsworth baby. Actually, the magazine also made that same claim in 2012. Clearly, the tabloid’s stories about the singer have been wrong for years, and based on this new tale about Cyrus pestering Hemsworth for sushi, it appears its reporting isn’t getting any better.
