Gossip Cop busted HollywoodLife last November after the site wrongly reported that Miley Cyrus showed off a “baby bump” on social media. Obviously, no baby has arrived and the singer still isn’t expecting. Nine months later, in the same time it would have taken for a child to be born, the website is now saying she’s “trying” to get pregnant with Liam Hemsworth’s baby.

On November 23, 2017, the pop star posted an Instagram photo of herself celebrating both her birthday and Thanksgiving. HollywoodLife contended that Cyrus had an “apparent baby bump” in the picture, but had zero other evidence to corroborate the pregnancy claims. Gossip Cop immediately debunked the bogus article, which time has proven false.

Nine months after falsely claiming the singer was pregnant, the website is again pretending to have insight into her family plans with Hemsworth. “They’ve both agreed that they’re at the place in their lives that they’d actually be ready if she got pregnant,” an alleged source tells the site. The questionable insider further tells the outlet that the two have been doing a lot of “baby making” lately.

Not only does the site ignore the fact that it lied about Cyrus being pregnant nine months ago, but this latest article about her “trying” isn’t accurate either. Cyrus was asked in a radio interview last year if she and Hemsworth have ever discussed starting a family “down the road,” and she responded, “No, I love [pet] pigs more than kids, to be honest.” The singer added, “I just want to keep getting as many dogs as possible.” There’s no indication that Cyrus’s opinion on the matter has changed.

Additionally, the blog has a long history of making up stories about the singer being pregnant. Way back in 2012, the site wrongly reported that Cyrus and Hemsworth were “already making plans to have a baby.” The following year, after the on-again couple had split, the blog alleged that Cyrus was pregnant with Juicy J’s baby.

By 2014, the same outlet reported Cyrus was pregnant with Patrick Schwarzenegger’s baby. It even asserted, “We wouldn’t be surprised if Miley made some sort of pregnancy announcement before the end of 2015.” She didn’t. Making its false reports about the singer expecting an annual event, like New Year’s or the Super Bowl, HollywoodLies ran a piece in 2016 titled, “Miley Cyrus Pregnant: Desperate For Quickie Summer Wedding To Liam Hemsworth.”

If HollywoodLies had any actual sources close to Cyrus, as it claims is the case, the site wouldn’t have spent years reporting nonexistent pregnancies. It wouldn’t have made the claim nine months ago either. This latest article in the ongoing narrative is equally fabricated.
