Miley Cyrus is not a "pregnant bride." She wasn't when it was first claimed a year ago, and she still isn't now. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fake news.
In May 2016, Life & Style ran a cover falsely announcing Gwen Stefani and Cyrus were both "Pregnant Brides!" It was a complete lie, and time has proven Gossip Cop was right. Neither Cyrus nor Stefani ended up getting married or having a baby in the year since. Now in May 2017, the tabloid has published an almost identical cover, merely subbing in Khloe Kardashian for Stefani.
Inside the new issue, a headline exclaims, "Wedding & A Baby For Miley!" In the article, the gossip magazine uses Cyrus' recent comments about abstaining from weed and alcohol as proof she may be expecting a baby with Liam Hemsworth. "Miley has reached a stage in her life where she feels ready to get married and start a family," a so-called "insider" claims to the tabloid, further asserting, "Pals are saying she's pregnant already!"
As additional evidence the pop star is with child, the outlet alleges Cyrus has started prenatal yoga, in addition and given up bad foods and hair dye, too. The publication's insider even contends she's "been having cravings for ice cubes and orange juice." Even the time she spends "doting on her fur babies" is used by the tabloid as an indication Cyrus is "prepping for motherhood." The story is also filled out with purported details on the "wacky nursery" she's designed, and claims she prefers the names Rainbow and Ocean for a girl.
But know what's not included in this piece? The interview Cyrus did just days ago, in which she was asked whether she and Hemsworth have spoken about starting a family. "No," she replied. "I love [pet] pigs more than kids, to be honest." Also not mentioned is last year's "pregnant bride" cover story, or any of the other times the tabloid has falsely impregnated Cyrus or wrongly claimed to know about wedding plans.
So, if the magazine really had an actual "insider," it wouldn't have peddled those previous false tales and it would know that Cyrus has no interest in having children right now. Gossip Cop knows that, because we take time to research and investigate. And in the course of looking into this suspicious pregnancy tale, we spoke with the singer's rep, who exclusive tells us, "She is absolutely not pregnant." The spokesperson adds, "She's simply happy with her station in life, both physically and creatively." Something tells us, though, Cyrus would probably be happier if Life & Style stopped publishing fake news about her.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
