Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are constantly splitting in the world of the tabloids. In reality, the happy spouses are going strong. Here are a few wrong rumors alleging otherwise.
In March, Gossip Cop busted OK! for falsely claiming Cyrus and Hemsworth’s marriage was in trouble over the singer “reverting back to her wild child ways.” According to the outlet, the couple was fighting because the singer was still acting immature and her husband believed she’d “settle down” once they tied the knot. Shortly before the article emerged, however, Cyrus posted on Instagram in honor of her husband’s birthday, making a point of noting, “I love how you let ME be Me.” The idea that Hemsworth married a woman in the hopes that her personality would later change is simply ridiculous.
In December 2018, NW made up a very similar story claiming Cyrus and Hemsworth were headed for a split because the singer had “returned to her wild ways.” That article said the actor was ready to call off his engagement “if she doesn’t get herself sorted.” Just days before the bogus story was published, Hemsworth supported his then-fiancee at “Saturday Night Live,” where she served as the musical guest. More significantly, the couple wed at the singer’s home in Tennessee less than two weeks after Gossip Cop corrected the report.
Last July, Gossip Cop called out RadarOnline for making up a story about Cyrus and Hemsworth being “on the rocks.” The blog contended that the singer had moved out of the home she shares with the actor in Malibu and was living with her parents. The unreliable outlet didn’t provide any reason behind the supposed breakup, but maintained that she “needed some space.” Only, Cyrus and Hemsworth were together in Nashville at the time the website posted its article. In addition to both stars sharing photos and videos from Nashville on social media, E! News reported that they were in a “great place” and had been “spending a lot of their time being low-key in Nashville lately.”
Also last July, Gossip Cop busted OK! Australia for wrongly reporting that Cyrus and Hemsworth had split because she refused to settle down. The magazine claimed the singer didn’t want to get married and the actor was tired of her refusal to commit. As time has shown, the couple went on to get married around five months later. The phony story also came on the heels of the couple being spotted on multiple outings in both New York City and Nashville. Cyrus and Hemsworth have continued flaunting their happy marriage on social media, at red carpet events and various other outings.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
