Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth do not have an open marriage, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. There's simply no truth to it.
An alleged insider tells NW that Hemsworth and Cyrus "hook up with other people from time to time and it's an arrangement that works for both of them." The supposed source goes on to say that Cyrus was the one who came up with the idea to see other people, and "it took a while for Liam to come to terms with it, but it seems like they've figured out how they can both be happy."
"He lets Miley go out and have her fun, but they're still very much a couple," adds the questionable tipster. "That's not going to change. Some will be surprised Liam is so relaxed about it, but he wants to be with Miley no matter what." The seemingly phony source goes on to say the pop star has been seeing both men and women, while her husband "is more of a one- woman guy, but the rumors are that this goes both ways and Liam would also be free to enjoy the company of others."
Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a source close to the couple, who wasn't able to speak on the record, but assures us the tabloid's report is absurd. Cyrus and Hemsworth aren't in an open marriage and don't hook up with other people on the side. There's simply no truth to this made-up scenario.
It's worth noting, NW has already proven to have little insight into the couple's romance. A few months ago, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for falsely claiming Cyrus and Hemsworth were headed for a split because she's too "wild" for him. Of course, the happy couple is still very much together. The magazine also insisted back in July 2018 that Cyrus and Hemsworth were no longer together. Time proved that report to be baseless as well.
Just last week, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for making up a story about Hemsworth being embarrassed by Cyrus' red carpet antics at the premiere of Avengers: Endgame. Shortly after the premiere, however, the actor shared Instagram photos from the event, along with the caption, "Me and my hot date last night... An absolute blast of a time!" It's clear the outlet concocts baseless drama, and with its latest article, the magazine is also inventing a bogus scandal.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
