Miley Cyrus is not having a baby with Kaitlynn Carter, despite a tabloid report claiming the two are planning a pregnancy. The story is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
“Miley Making A Baby — With Kaitlynn!” reads a headline in the latest issue of the National Enquirer. “Kaitlynn is desperate to be a mom — and a baby was definitely in the cards before she left hubby Brody Jenner and fell for Miley,” a source says. “Well, the partner may have changed, but Kaitlynn’s plan has stayed the same.”
According to the tabloid, Carter apparently “made it clear” to Cyrus that she was serious about starting a family, and the singer is on board. “Miley wants this as much as Kaitlynn,” adds the alleged tipster. “She’s even told friends she would carry the baby if any issues arose with Kaitlynn getting pregnant!”
Of course, the tabloid also dredges up drama involving Liam Hemsworth by claiming Cyrus brushed off his attempts at starting a family while they were still together. “She’s completely reversed field on this because she feels like Kaitlynn is the one she wants to spend her life with,” adds the seemingly phony source. “Now Miley’s talking babies morning, noon and night — to the degree where it’s gotten back to Liam. He’s devastated by this. He wanted badly to be a dad!”
There’s one major issue that invalidates this entire story: Cyrus and Carter split last week. It seems as though the news of the two breaking up emerged after the publication had already sent its latest issue to print. Simply put, the tabloid got caught making up a story, which isn’t the least bit surprising to Gossip Cop.
Additionally, according to a follow-up report from People magazine, Cyrus is “looking forward” to being single again. Even if the two hadn’t broken up, that’s not exactly how someone who was on the cusp of starting a family would feel. The Enquirer was wrong from the get-go.
Gossip Cop has debunked several stories about Cyrus, including those about her brief relationship with Carter and her marriage to Hemsworth. Earlier this month, we busted the Enquirer‘s sister publication, Life & Style, for a fake rumor about Cyrus and Carter buying a “love nest,” which has only gotten more blatantly incorrect as times goes on. We also called out the Enquirer itself for a phony claim about the then-married Cyrus hooking up with Stella Maxwell with Hemsworth’s consent. The gossip media didn’t know the truth about Cyrus’ married life, and it knows even less about her single life.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
