A new tabloid report claiming Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got into a huge fight over his supposed refusal to wear a promise ring is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this bogus story.

Hemsworth was spotted wearing a band on his ring finger earlier this month, sparking rumors the actor and his fiancee have officially tied the knot. But the couple isn’t married yet, as the ring was later revealed to be more of a “promise” to Cyrus. Life & Style is now claiming the singer actually bought her fiance this promise ring six months ago, but he refused to wear it until recently.

A supposed “source” tells the magazine, “She pushed him and pushed him to wear the ring, and she finally lost her temper and was screaming at him furiously. The fight was one of the worst they’ve ever had.” The outlet’s dubious insider adds, “She refused to talk to him for almost two full days after that. They were both convinced their relationship could be over.” The seemingly phony insider goes on to say Hemsworth eventually apologized and agreed to wear the promise ring, which saved their relationship.

Life & Style’s account of events, however, is entirely fabricated. The tabloid has no real insight into this situation, and seemingly concocted this report simply based on the recent photos of Hemsworth wearing a ring. Gossip Cop is assured by sources close to Cyrus and Hemsworth that no one in the couple’s trusted inner circle gave the publication this made-up scoop.

This phony report is coming from the same outlet that published a cover story earlier this year claiming Cyrus was having a baby and a wedding. Obviously, neither of those major milestones have come to fruition yet. Gossip Cop also previously called out the tabloid for alleging Cyrus and Hemsworth were fighting over a prenup. The untrustworthy magazine’s latest article is more lies.
