Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher did not go on a “diva trip” at last month’s Red Nose Day telethon, despite a report falsely claiming they participated in the event with a “bad attitude.” Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story.

The new issue of In Touch deems Kunis and Kutcher “Hollywood’s most obnoxious couple” based on “their behavior” at NBC’s televised charity special for children struggling with poverty and hunger. A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “It was a fundraiser for kids, but both he and Mila acted like kids themselves — spoiled, bratty, rotten ones.”

It’s claimed the “diva duo” made “ridiculous demands,” with Kunis allegedly “demand[ing] their own green room backstage because she didn’t want to share.” The supposed snitch further claims the actress “snapped at production assistants.” As for Kutcher, the alleged source says, “People talked about how he was way nicer when he was married to Demi [Moore].”

“He and Mila thought they were the king and queen of the night, but it wasn’t about them,” continues the outlet’s tipster. In Touch snarkily adds, “They’re filthy rich — so don’t send them money — but maybe someone out there can donate manners to the etiquette-challenged duo?”

Uh, it’s more like the facts-challenged magazine could use some lessons in reporting. Given the number of people at the fundraiser, why is only this tabloid claiming this version of events nearly three weeks after the telethon? And if Kunis and Kutcher are so self-centered, why didn’t they pre-tape a cameo like most celebrities did, instead of being among the few stars to participate in person?

Gossip Cop couldn’t find anyone that could verify In Touch’s take on Kutcher and Kunis’ Red Nose Day appearance, which isn’t surprising. After all, this is the outlet that last year ran a story claiming the actress was struggling due to the actor’s “baby with another woman.” The story was outrageously about Kunis supposedly being “haunted” by a child allegedly miscarried by one of Kutcher’s ex-girlfriends.

That’s kind of publication that’s now trying to make Kutcher and Kunis out to be “the most obnoxious couple” in Hollywood. But Gossip Cop is told these Red Nose Day “diva” claims are not only “absolutely false,” but “could not be further from the truth.” Now that sounds about right.
