Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher‘s marriage is frequently the subject of false tabloid stories. Gossip Cop often debunks bogus stories about the couple. Here are five recent wrong rumors.
Last month, Gossip Cop busted New Idea for falsely claiming that Kutcher was angry about Kunis “getting cozy” with Justin Theroux at the premiere of their movie The Spy Who Dumped Me. The magazine alleged that Kutcher yelled at his wife for being “too close” with her co-star on the red carpet, and he stormed out of the afterparty over it. However, a YouTube video taken at the movie’s premiere showed what really went down. After Kunis finished posing with Theroux, she walked to a roped-off area where her husband was waiting and gave him a high-five and a kiss on the cheek. Later in the footage, Kutcher can be seen chatting with Theroux. The video completely disproved the magazine’s bogus report.
In May, Life & Style made up a story about Kutcher being worried that Kunis was getting too skinny. It was said the two were fighting over the topic and the actor was trying to convince his wife to get healthy. However, a spokesperson qualified to speak on Kunis’ behalf told Gossip Cop on the record that the story was nonsense. Meanwhile, Kunis described Kutcher as “the world’s greatest husband” and “incredibly supportive” in an interview published just weeks before the tabloid’s article emerged. The actor clearly wasn’t hounding his wife over her weight or any other issues.
Gossip Cop called out the National Enquirer in May for wrongly reporting that Kunis was quitting Hollywood to have a third baby. The outlet said the actress was putting her career on the back burner to have another child. Not only did a rep for the actress tell us the story was untrue, but Kunis herself told People magazine last November that she’s done having kids. “I will only have two,” said the actress. And earlier in 2017, Kunis told “Entertainment Tonight”, “I have two really healthy, really wonderful kids. Why test my luck?”
In February, Gossip Cop debunked a ridiculous Star story claiming that Kutcher fought with his wife for speaking Russian at a friend’s dinner party because he felt left out of the conversation. In reality, the actor has no issue with his wife speaking the language. In fact, Kutcher revealed in an interview with Seth Meyers that the couple’s young daughter was “learning Russian” because Kunis’ family speaks the language.
And finally, Gossip Cop busted In Touch last December for alleging that Kunis and Kutcher saved their marriage after going to couple’s therapy. The magazine didn’t actually specify what the supposed issues between the two were, but said they managed to work them out in counseling. The actress’s rep, however, assured us the spouses never had marriage problems. Around the same time, Kunis gushed about her marriage in an interview. When asked to reveal her husband’s annoying habits, the actress responded, “My husband does not annoy me. I don’t know if this happens later, we’ve only been married for a handful of years, you know it’s very much in the honeymoon phase.” It’s clear the two never went to therapy for nonexistent issues.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
