Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are "back on track" following marriage problems, claims a new tabloid report. In reality, the couple's relationship has never been in trouble. The story, published in one of this week's magazines, is completely false and Gossip Cop can debunk it.
According to the latest issue of OK! Australia, Kunis and Kutcher's four-year marriage was hanging by a thread until very recently. The primary reason? Their two young kids weren't sleeping at night, contends the magazine. "Mila and Ashton's babies were not sleepers, and that put a big stress on their marriage," a so-called "source close to the couple" tells the outlet.
The alleged insider adds, "Mila would get up every three hours, sometimes every two hours, when their kids would wake up crying. That made her exhausted and angry." The questionable tipster goes on to assert their two children "aren't waking up" in the middle of the night now that they're a bit older, and "Ashton and Mila have found their way back to one another."
The outlet's report is utterly absurd. The idea that Kunis and Kutcher were headed for a divorce over crying babies and a lack of sleep simply isn't true. In reality, the happy spouses were never headed for a split. While various breakup rumors have emerged in the tabloids in the past, and a rep for Kunis has repeatedly assured Gossip Cop there's no truth to them.
Earlier this month, for example, Gossip Cop busted Star for falsely claiming Kunis was "wasting away" amid a "divorce" from Kutcher. Shortly before that, we debunked a National Enquirer story alleging Kunis told Kutcher to "grow up" or she'll dump him. And prior to that nonsense, we shot down a Life & Style article about Kunis and Kutcher having a supposed "marriage crisis."
This ongoing saga about the couple splitting has never panned out, so now OK! Australia has come up with a bogus angle about their marriage being "back on track." Curiously, the publication doesn't mention how Kunis described Kutcher as "the world's greatest husband" last year in an interview. She added, "I got a man that has got a lot of patience and is incredibly supportive of our family."
Around the same time last year, People magazine published an article noting that Kunis and Kutcher are "still over the moon" together. The reliable outlet further noted, "They married their best friends and have continued to grow in their relationship."
When it comes to false rumors about Kunis and Kutcher breaking up, the tabloids typically come up with narratives surrounding jealousy issues and time apart. This latest article, which maintains they were ready to call off their marriage because their kids weren't going to bed, might be the most ridiculous one yet.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
