A tabloid report claiming Mila Kunis is "wasting away" amid a so-called "divorce" with Ashton Kutcher is completely untrue. The actress isn't having any health issues and her marriage isn't in trouble either. Gossip Cop can debunk the story.
According to Star, Kunis' friends are worried she's losing weight amid supposed marriage problems with her husband of nearly four years. One of the major issues, says the magazine, is the recent announcement that Kutcher's ex-wife Demi Moore will be writing a tell-all in which she'll open up about her marriage to the actor. An alleged insider tells the outlet that Kunis "is freaking out" about the book and what Moore might say about her husband.
"She's not eating much because her stomach's been in knots," adds the unidentifiable source. "Mila's obsessing over what Demi might divulge. Mila knew Ashton wasn't an angel when she married him, but no wife wants to hear that her husband was a lousy cheat to his ex." The suspicious tipster goes on to say Kunis is nervous that Moore's revelations about her marriage to Kutcher will deviate from what the actor has told her.
Another problem, according to the outlet, is that Kunis and Kutcher have been at odds "over their fundamental personality differences." The seemingly phony source further contends that Kutcher is too "caught up in his own world" to notice his wife's concerns and it's only making matters worse.
The tabloid's story is coming from an anonymous and possibly fictitious "source," but Gossip Cop reached out to Kunis' spokesperson, who tells us on the record it's untrue. The actress's rep, who's qualified to speak on her behalf, tells us she's not having any marriage or health problems. We're further assured that Kunis isn't worried about Moore's upcoming memoir.
Additionally, Kunis opened up about Kutcher's marriage to Moore during an interview on Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast last year. "I think there was a lot of misconceptions about the divorce," said the actress, who further noted that her husband "just let rumors be rumors" because he was too "private and respectful" to correct them. Kunis also made a point of noting that she knows the truth behind her husband's breakup from Moore, adding, "We went into this relationship super transparent with one another, so we knew 100 percent each other's faults... And we were like, 'I accept you for who you are.'"
It should also be mentioned, Kunis described Kutcher as "the world's greatest husband" in a separate interview last year. "I got a man that has got a lot of patience and is incredibly supportive of our family," said the actress. The idea that the actor is "caught up in his own world" simply isn't true.
Star is the same tabloid that Gossip Cop busted back in December for wrongly reporting that Kunis and Kutcher were expecting twins. As time has proven, that's not the case. This latest report about the spouses is more fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
