Meghan Markle is not already having “wedding drama,” despite a new tabloid report. Of course, she and Prince Harry have not even announced they’re engaged. Still Gossip Cop looked into this claim, and we’re told it’s “false.”

The assertion is made in the new issue of Life & Style, which blares in a headline, “Harry And Meghan, The Wedding’s On: But It’s Full Of Drama.” In the accompanying story, the magazine contends Prince Harry and Markle’s “path to the altar is full of obstacles,” alleging their wedding is being derailed by their “lack of control over the festivities” and Markle’s “relatives’ loose lips.” A so-called “source” is quoted as telling the publication, “It’s going to be a dramatic lead-up to a unique and mind-blowing wedding.”

The outlet goes on to maintain that Markle’s half-siblings, 50-year-old Thomas and 52-year-old Samantha, have begun “causing problems.” “Harry is letting his bride decide whether to invite Samantha,” claims the tabloid, adding that even previously arrested Thomas wants to be invited to the ceremony. “The Queen is nervous. She likes things to go her way and will be furious if anyone steps out of line at the wedding,” concludes the magazine’s supposed “royal source.”

Let Gossip Cop explain what’s really going on. Contrary to the publication’s premise, currently there are no nuptials in the works, so it’s actually impossible for there to be any “wedding drama” at the moment. What’s more, a source close to the 36-year-old actress tells us she’s never been close with her much older half-brother and half-sister on her father’s side. Gossip Cop hears Markle was essentially brought up as an only child by her mom.

Should the actress marry Prince Harry, Markle’s half-siblings will not be invited to the ceremony to cause “drama.” An impeccable insider assures Gossip Cop the tabloid’s tale is simply “false.” Unfortunately, we’re not remotely surprised by the falsity of the publication’s latest article.

Remember, Gossip Cop corrected Life & Style when it wrongly maintained in March that Prince Harry and Markle were having a Christmas wedding in the Caribbean. Bizarrely, the tabloid tries to cover that goof by now saying the nuptials were “push[ed] back so it wouldn’t interfere with the April arrival of Kate Middleton’s babies… twin girls.” Not only are those two events unrelated, but last week Kensington Palace confirmed to Gossip Cop that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting one baby and is not pregnant with twins. The only “drama” here is what’s been manufactured by the magazine itself.
