Meghan Markle is not “urging” Prince Harry to relocate to Los Angeles, despite a fake news report that wrongly claims the couple are currently house hunting in America. Gossip Cop can reveal the truth.
The regurgitated allegation comes from Celeb Dirty Laundry, which claims the “Suits” actress is desperate for the royal to relocate to the States, having allegedly “not spent much time together” over the past year. Without any reputable sources or evidence to back up its baseless article, the often disproven site contends, “Harry is usually stuck in London, and Meghan splits her time between Los Angeles and Toronto.”
The dubious webloid further purports that “while they’ve managed to visit each other on both sides of the pond, it’s usually for no more than a few days or two weeks at the most,” as “Prince Harry’s schedule is jam packed with his public engagements and royal duties.” Similarly, Markle can only “take so much time off from ‘Suits’ to be with Harry,” concludes the bad blog.
Gossip Cop, however, already debunked this made-up report when OK! made the same speculative claim just days ago. The magazine falsely alleged Prince Harry and Markle were house hunting in America, but a rep for the actress told us there was no truth to the publication’s entire article. Additionally, we were further assured by an impeccable source close to the situation that the story about Prince Harry and Markle house hunting together at this stage in their relationship was “very premature.”
What’s more, as Gossip Cop reported, Markle is committed to living in Toronto until the end of this year. Of course, when “Suits” comes to an end, the star could relocate to California, meaning Prince Harry could spend a lot of time there. But for now, contrary to CDL’s report, Markle is not “urging” Prince Harry to move to Los Angeles. It’s all lies.
Naturally, this is not the first time we have corrected the repeatedly discredited outlet for its lack of reporting skills. Earlier this month, Gossip Cop called out the website for wrongly claiming Markle had been “warned” not to marry Prince Harry. That wasn’t true, and the same goes for this latest piece of fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
