Meghan Markle is not pregnant with Prince Harry‘s baby, despite a new tabloid cover story. Contrary to the report, the couple is not expecting a child at this time. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the allegation, which was seemingly manufactured. “Meghan is not pregnant,” her spokesperson tell us.
The new cover of OK! is falsely announcing, “Harry & Meghan: New Royal Baby!” The front of the issue even touts “First Bump Photos,” but Markle most certainly does not have a growing baby belly. In fact, the publication is trying to deceive readers by using a photo of Markle that was taken in 2014. Still, the tabloid contends in its article that though the couple “seem primed to make an official engagement announcement any day,” there’s “more than a wedding in their future,” because “palace sources are buzzing that the pair may be expecting their first child.”
A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “There are whispers that Meghan is as far as three months along! It’s unexpected, to say the least. To have a baby out of wedlock would risk creating quite a scandal for the royal family. But Harry and Meghan are eager to build a family together, and the sooner the better.” And with Markle allegedly recently meeting with Queen Elizabeth, the gossip magazine’s source claims, “The whole palace was buzzing that they had told the queen of Meghan’s state. Supposedly, she didn’t mince words and told them it was ‘a most unfortunate situation.'”
“Now, it’s up to her to consult with royal advisors about how to handle such a shocking development,” asserts the purported tipster, predicting, “All she’ll ask is that they speed up their wedding so they don’t have a baby first. She’s said to be pushing for a spring ceremony!” But this very outlet has tried to dupe readers on these very same topics before. Back in March, the publication made up a cover story in which it was falsely claimed Markle told Kate Middleton she was “having Harry’s baby.” And then there was another fabricated cover story in May, in which the tabloid lied about a “royal wedding” being “confirmed” by the palace.
In that tale, it was said Markle and Prince Harry were “eyeing an early September wedding.” It’s telling that this new cover story says nothing about those fall nuptials not happening while now asserting that they need to “speed up” their wedding plans. Of course, the couple was never set to wed last month, much like how Markle never told Middleton earlier this year that she was having Prince Harry’s baby, and how she’s not really pregnant now. All three of these cover stories were made up just to get consumers to shell out $6.99 for what is ultimately fiction. In fact, a rep for Markle exclusively tells Gossip Cop the actress is “not pregnant” and the tabloid’s story is “full of lies.”
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
