Megan Fox is not addicted to plastic surgery, despite an untrue tabloid. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. It's simply not accurate.
"Megan's Face Overhaul" reads the headline of a new OK! article, which quotes a so-called "insider" as saying the Transformers star "has gone completely overboard" on nips and tucks, to the point where "her friends are concerned she's developing an addiction." The anonymous tipster adds, "She doesn't even look like herself anymore, and she can't move her face. The result is somewhat frightening, but what's even scarier is that Megan thinks she looks better this way."
The supposed source further alleges that Fox is "actually very insecure," despite people fawning over her looks, and although her friends try to assure her she's a natural beauty, "she won't listen to anyone who tells her that." The seemingly phony tipster concludes, "Her loved ones are really worried she is going down a dangerous path, and in Hollywood that can be difficult to come back from."
The tabloid's article is based on the word of an untraceable "insider," but Gossip Cop checked in with a spokesperson for Fox, who exclusively tells us on the record that it's "1000 percent not true and unfounded." We should also note that the actress has denied in the past to getting Botox or lip injections. Having said that, it's not unusual for Hollywood actresses to undergo minor beauty procedures, but this idea that Fox is "insecure" and dangerously "addicted" to surgery is totally off-base. No one in the actress's inner circle is concerned for her well-being.
This isn't the firs time OK! has been way off in their reporting about the actress. Gossip Cop called out the tabloid in 2018 for a bogus story alleging Jennifer Garner was heartbroken over Josh Duhamel "getting cozy" with Fox. Every aspect of that absurd article was wrong. For starters, it was predicated on the false notion that Garner and Duhamel were a couple, which has never been the case. Additionally, Duhamel never got "cozy" with Fox, who's been married to Brian Austin Green for almost a decade.
Speaking of the actress's marriage, that's also a popular target for the tabloids. Last month, Gossip Cop busted Woman's Day for falsely claiming Fox was threatening to divorce Green after the actor admitted he hooked up with Tori Spelling back in the '90s. This latest article focused on the actress's appearance is more fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
