Mark Salling, the “Glee” actor who was arrested at his Los Angeles home on Tuesday for possessing child pornography, filmed scenes for the upcoming superhero movie Gods And Secrets, but in light of the shocking allegations, the actor could possibly get cut out of the film.

The movie’s director, Adi Shankar, told The Wrap on Wednesday that he’s considering editing Salling out of the film, but only if the child porn “allegations are true.” Shankar explained, “I won’t feed our growing pitchfork culture. I’m going to wait for all the facts to arrive.” But the filmmaker stressed that if Salling did commit the crime, he will “immediately take action, which includes removing his scenes from the project.”

As Gossip Cop reported, LAPD officers executed a search warrant at Salling’s Sunland, California property after one of the his former girlfriends informed police he possessed the illegal content. Salling was then arrested when cops uncovered sexually explicit images of underage children on his home computer. He was later released on $20,000 bail.

It’s unclear how large a role Salling has in Gods And Secrets, or how his possible removal will affect the outcome of the film, which is set in a world filled with superheroes. The movie also stars Kellan Lutz, Alexandra Billings, Denise Richards, and Jane Seymour, as well as two of Salling’s former “Glee” co-stars, Josh Sussman and Max Adler.

Tell Gossip Cop what you think about Salling possibly getting cut from his new movie God And Secrets because of the child pornography charges.
