Mark Isaiah made a big comeback during “The Voice” on Monday. Check out the video below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Isaiah won the first Instant Save of season 12 last week. During the results show, the Team Adam artist found himself in the Bottom Two with Troy Ramey, who was a member of Team Gwen. Both gave performances in hopes of winning redemption, and it was Isaiah who was saved. What was particularly interesting was that Isaiah was in jeopardy even though his Top 12 performance was one of the most viewed on YouTube.

No matter, he just didn’t have enough votes apparently, something Isaiah and coach Adam Levine hoped to change this week. Although the teen seemingly wants to be a pop star in the vein of Justin Bieber, he and Levine decided to take a risk for the Top 11 round by assigning his artist Lil Wayne’s “How To Love.” It’s not a typical rap track, though, and the late Christina Grimmie, whom Levine took to third place in 2014, found success when she sang the song on the NBC competition. In fact, her version even charted in the Top 10 on iTunes.

Now Isaiah had a chance to replicate that accomplishment. In rehearsals, Levine called it a “really challenging song,” noting its “atypical” style for Wayne makes it a fit for his artist. The coach urged him to have a “plan,” sing over and over, and make the lyrics second nature. If he did that, Levine said, “I got no worries.”

Isaiah took the advice to heart. Following the live performance, Gwen Stefani exclaimed, “Woah!” She praised the song choice, and noted, “That feels like your song.” A thrilled Levine now admitted to being “worried,” but commended his contestant’s artistry and the way he pulled it off. “No one works harder than this guy,” he declared, adding, “This guy does not deserve to go home. Make sure this kid is not in the bottom again.” Watch below!
