Marion Cotillard did NOT get lip injections, despite an inaccurate webloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim. We’re told it’s false.

The actress, who’s currently pregnant, posted a series of Instagram photos on Tuesday in which she’s sporting plumped up lips and posing seductively for the camera. The selfies were taken last year on the set of her movie, Rock ‘N Roll, while she was in character. HollywoodLife does note that the pictures were shot for the film, but then claims Cotillard “posted a photo of herself in the chair getting the lip injections and she looks totally shocked and surprised by her transformation.”

The webloid got the part right about the actress posting a photo of herself sitting in a chair, but it doesn’t feature her getting the cosmetic procedure done. As for the supposed lip injections, Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to the actress, who assures us she didn’t get actually any surgical enhancements for the role. We’re told the lips are prosthetic and “pertain to her character’s look towards the end of the film,” which has already been released in France.

Naturally, HollywoodLife also goes on to say Cotillard “looks like Angelina Jolie’s twin,” seemingly because the actress co-starred in a movie with Brad Pitt. The site also arbitrarily suggests that Cottilard has made a “transformation into Angelina’s clone,” despite Jolie having nothing to do with the story and the look only being temporary for the movie. HollywoodLies, as it’s known, is the same site Gossip Cop busted for falsely claiming Jolie believes Pitt cheated on her with Cotillard while they were married.
