Mario Lopez did not cheat on his wife Courtney Mazza, despite a new report suggesting the TV personality was unfaithful simply because he was spotted talking to another woman at a party. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.

The unreliable MediaTakeOut posted a few innocuous photos of Lopez chatting with an unidentified woman at a social gathering, along with the absurd headline, “They Caught Married EXTRA TV Host Mario Lopez… CREEPING On Some Girl In The CLUB LAST NIGHT!! Uh Oh… Wonder If He’s Gonna REPORT ON THIS?” The repeatedly discredited outlet goes on to say the TV personality was “up in some girls face at the club,” despite his conversation being completely innocent.

The capital letters-loving site ends its article by baselessly speculating, “Looks like Mario is UP TO NO GOOD.” But the only thing here that’s “no good” is MTO’s inaccurate reporting. Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Lopez, who exclusively assures us there’s “no truth” to the webloid’s cheating allegations. The former “Saved by the Bell” star has been happily married to Mazza for nearly five years and shares two young children with her. In fact, the “Extra” host consistently documents his activities with his wife and kids on social media.

Unfortunately, MediaFakeOut, as it’s known, has a habit of wrongly accusing celebrities of cheating on their significant others, so this latest attempt at unjustly vilifying a married man isn’t surprising. Shortly before they wed, the site alleged Russell Wilson cheated on Ciara. A rep for the singer, however, exclusively assured us at the time that the claim was “1,000 percent inaccurate.”

Gossip Cop also previously busted the webloid for falsely accusing Kim Kardashian of cheating on Kanye West with Oakland Raiders player Marquette King. A rep for the reality star exclusively told us it was entirely bogus, and MTO’s latest story unfairly targeting Lopez is equally unfounded.
