Gossip Cop has recently busted a lot of stories falsely claiming Margot Robbie was either pregnant or splitting from husband Tom Ackerley. The actress gave a new interview on Friday proving the various rumors we've debunked were all false. The actress's marriage is going strong and she's not planning on having kids anytime soon.
The actress mostly keeps quiet about her private life, but Robbie opens up about her marriage in a new interview with Porter magazine, in which she gushes about her husband and their life together. "Being married is actually the most fun ever, life got way more fun somehow," the actress tells the publication. "I have a responsibility being someone's wife, I want to be better." Robbie goes on to note that the two never spend more than three weeks apart despite their busy schedules, "even if we both have to fly to a country in-between where we both are for one night." She further explains that they "speak all day, every day on the phone."
Unfortunately, many unreliable tabloids have painted a different picture of the actress's relationship. Last month, for example, Gossip Cop busted Woman's Day Australia for wrongly reporting that Robbie's busy work schedule was taking a toll on her marriage. That article failed to mention that the spouses produce films together through their joint production company, LuckyChap Entertainment.
In September, Gossip Cop called out Life & Style for falsely claiming that Ackerley was "keeping a close eye" on Robbie's co-star Brad Pitt on the set of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood because he didn't trust the actor around his wife. However, Robbie notes in her new interview that she's "barely on set" with the actor as they don't have many scenes together. And in July, Gossip Cop debunked an OK! story alleging that Robbie stopped wearing her wedding ring because she's having marriage problems. These are just a few examples of the tabloids creating nonexistent marital drama.
Meanwhile, Robbie also talks in her Porter magazine interview about the possibility of having kids in the near future. "No! Definitely not," the actress says. Robbie goes on to explain that she and her husband have trouble taking care of their two dogs, adding, "I can't cope with two puppies, let alone children!" The actress further clarifies that she wants to have a large family at some point down the road, "but definitely not at the moment. That's 100 percent certain."
The tabloids have provided a different (and wrong) take on the actress's family plans. Gossip Cop busted OK! Australia earlier this month for falsely claiming that Robbie was pregnant with her first child. We also called out RadarOnline in July for wrongly reporting that Robbie was expecting a baby with her husband.
Robbie's latest interview discredits dozens of phony reports that have been written about the actress's personal life as of late. Unfortunately, Gossip Cop suspects the tabloids will come up with new phony angles about the star. As always, we'll separate fact from fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
