Margot Robbie is constantly feuding with other celebrities in the fantasy world created by the tabloids. Gossip Cop has debunked many of the actress's nonexistent battles with other stars. Here are a few wrong rumors on the subject.

In April, Gossip Cop busted OK! for falsely claiming Gwyneth Paltrow was furious with Robbie, who's upcoming Hulu series "Dollface," which she's producing, supposedly pokes fun at Paltrow's lifestyle brand Goop. On the show, the main character works at a company called Woom, but there's nothing to suggest the name is a reference to Goop, and it's unclear if the company is even a lifestyle brand. Still, an anonymous insider told the magazine that Paltrow was fuming, while Robbie found the whole situation to be "funny." Paltrow's own spokesperson, however, told us on the record that the article was nonsense. The actress's rep assured us she didn't have any issues with Robbie and wasn't even aware of the TV show.

In February, Gossip Cop called out Life & Style for wrongly reporting that Robbie got into a heated fight with Lady Gaga at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. According to the magazine, the two stars have never liked each other and have a history of competing for roles and snubbing each other on red carpets. The outlet contended that Robbie and Gaga finally had it out with a screaming match in the lobby of the the awards ceremony. However, dozens of entertainment outlets covered the SAG Awards, and not a single other publication reported anything about an altercation. Gaga's rep, speaking on her behalf, assured us she didn't battle with Robbie at an awards show, nor is there any bad blood between the two.

In March 2018, Gossip Cop debunked a bogus New Idea story about Robbie being in a feud with Jennifer Lawerence, who was said to be jealous of the fellow actress "stealing her spotlight." The tabloid claimed that the Hunger Games star was threatened by Robbie, especially in the wake of her Oscar nomination for I, Tonya. In reality, the two actresses are friendly. During a red carpet interview at Elle's Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in 2017, Lawrence joked, "Margot Robbie is so pretty that I think I should just go home!" It's possible the magazine was inspired to concoct a tale of jealousy based on Lawrence's lighthearted joke, but there's no animosity between the pair.

Gossip Cop busted New Idea in January 2018 for attempting to create a fake feud between Robbie and Nicole Kidman. The magazine maintained the the two Australian actresses avoided each other at the Gotham Independent Film Awards as a result of an unknown "beef" between them. The outlet didn't bother to mention that the actresses posed together on the cover of W magazine that same month. The following month, Robbie and Kidman sat together at a New York Fashion Week show. The Aussie actresses are clearly friendly.

And finally, Gossip Cop called out In Touch in November 2017 for alleging Angelina Jolie snubbed Robbie at the Hollywood Film Awards. The tabloid claimed the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star attempted to introduce herself to Jolie, who supposedly responded, "I know who you are" and then "turned her back." The so-called "snub" was said to be a result of Brad Pitt having a "crush" on Robbie when she made a cameo in his 2015 movie The Big Short. But we reached out to organizers of the awards show, none of whom had heard anything about the supposed incident. Not a single other media outlet witness the alleged conflict either. That's because it never happened.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
