Madonna and Guy Ritchie have settled their custody battle over son Rocco, Gossip Cop confirms. A court spokesperson says the case was officially dismissed on Wednesday.

As Gossip Cop reported, the family dispute erupted last December. While Madonna had primary physical custody of Rocco, he refused to leave London, where he had been spending time with Ritchie. A New York judge ordered the teen to return to the U.S., but was granted a stay by a London judge.

Then in March, Madonna and Ritchie were ripped by the New York judge for not privately working out the matter. With Rocco enrolled in a London school by that point, it was agreed he would stay there for the time-being so as not to disrupt his routine. But his famous parents were reprimanded for not resolving their issues, and were urged to come to an agreement before the case went to trial.

By the spring, however, Madonna and Rocco had reunited. He even accompanied her on a philanthropic trip to Africa, and in July, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline for falsely claiming Madonna and Rocco were feuding again. On the contrary, mother and son have mended fences.

And now the custody arrangements have been worked out, too. While the settlement is confidential, it’s believed Rocco, now 16, will continue to go to school in London. Gossip Cop has reached out for comment. Madonna and Ritchie are pictured above in 2008.
