Macklemore revealed on Wednesday that his daughter was secretly born two months ago. And he had a second surprise. Along with music partner Ryan Lewis, Macklemore released a tribute song for his baby girl called “Growing Up,” featuring Ed Sheeran. Listen below!

In an announcement on his official website, Macklemore wrote on behalf of himself and new wife Tricia, “Our daughter Sloane Ave Simone Haggerty was born 2 months ago on May 29th. There is nothing like the joy and happiness that comes from bringing a baby into this universe. She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the love of my life. This song is for her.”

Indeed, “Growing Up” is subtitled “Sloane’s Song.” The cover art for the track, which is being offered as a free download, features Macklemore’s hand holding on to his little one’s tiny wrist. With Lewis’ production, Macklemore spits verses about parenthood, while Sheeran takes on the loving chorus.

“Growing Up” is Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ first song in nearly three years. Its release, and the news of Sloane’s birth, comes just a few days after the performer confessed in a Complex cover story that he relapsed last year as he grappled with fame. But it was finding out Tricia was pregnant that inspired Mackelmore to get sober again.

Later Wednesday, Tricia revealed she and Macklemore had also secretly wed, and shared a sweet Instagram photo of daddy and daughter (see below). “We had our beautiful baby girl on May 29th… Got married on June 27th once the Supreme Court ruled same sex couples could too,” she wrote. “And now new music. Thank you all for being patient, this year has been incredible so far, we love you.”
