Louis Tomlinson performed “Back To You” with Bebe Rexha at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday. Check out the video below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, “Back To You” is Tomlinson’s second single during One Direction’s hiatus. The track, a collaboration with Rexha, was released in late July. The British singer co-wrote the song, and it is expected to be featured on his upcoming debut solo album. The lyrics are about an on-and-off relationship in which the couple keeps going “back” to one another. Tomlinson and Rexha trade verses and sing together on the chorus.

Despite his pedigree and Rexha having a hit with “Me, Myself & I” in 2015, “Back To You” hasn’t made much of an impression on the Billboard charts to date. While the song has reached number 12 on the UK Singles list from Official Charts, in the States it’s only peaked at number 40 on the Hot 100 and ranks 32nd on the Mainstream Top 40. Still, the pair have been committed to promoting the duet. As Gossip Cop reported, Tomlinson and Rexha performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” earlier this month. Tomlinson has also made the radio rounds for interviews, while Rexha was on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” only a few days ago to celebrate her new EP, All Your Fault: Pt. 2, which just dropped on Friday.

Rexha was first linked to the Teen Choice Awards in 2015, when she and G-Eazy scored a Best Collaboration nomination for “Me, Myself & I.” Tomlinson, meanwhile, has 28 Teen Choice wins to his name, thanks to One Direction, which holds the title for the most victories in the history of the awards show. Their last four awards came just last year, with the boy band earning Choice Music: Group, Choice Music Single: Group (“Home”), Choice Music: Love Song (“Perfect”) and Choice Fandom.

Tomlinson went into tonight with three new nominations, including Choice Hottie, which has him competing against Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, among others. He was also nominated for Choice Electronic/Dance Song and Choice Collaboration, both for “Just Hold On,” his debut solo single with Steve Aoki. This now marks his first Teen Choice performance since One Direction took the stage with “Best Song Ever” in 2013. Watch video of “Back To You” with Rexha below!
