Louis Tomlinson has apparently taken sides in the feud between Calvin Harris and Zayn Malik.

As Gossip Cop reported earlier, Malik seemingly shaded Harris’ girlfriend Taylor Swift on Monday afternoon when he retweeted a Twitter post that pointed out how Swift is in favor of streaming services in which artists are paid, in comparison to Miley Cyrus who said she doesn’t care about making money at all. Harris, in an attempt to defend his gal pal, responded harshly to Malik’s retweet, leading the deejay and the former One Direction singer to go back and forth in a series of heated tweets.

Harris ultimately clarified that he wasn’t upset with Malik but the original message, and even praised the British star as a great singer. Malik didn’t appear to accept the olive branch, but he won’t have his former band mate backing him up. In the aftermath of the dust-up, Tomlinson favorited Harris’ first tweet to Malik.

And it’s doubtful the click was accidental, as Tomlinson only has 31 favorites total, suggesting he chooses which ones to select carefully. The move didn’t go unnoticed by fans, either. “Zouis” became a trending topic as Directioners mourned what has become of their friendship.

The pair, not surprisingly, seemed to have issues after Malik quit One Direction earlier this year, and even had a feud of their own on Twitter in May, as Gossip Cop reported at the time. A large part of their beef, however, had to do with Naughty Boy, and there were hopes that Malik and Tomlinson had repaired their friendship in the wake of Malik cutting ties with the producer and Louis Tomlinson thanking their former colleague on the group’s fifth anniversary last month.

Sadly, it seems Zouis is still dead. TELL US: What do you think of Tomlinson subtly getting involved in the Malik-Harris feud?
