Joseph Gordon-Levitt took on Anthony Mackie on the “Lip Sync Battle” holiday special, and their The Night Before co-star Seth Rogen helped judge the musical performances. Watch the funny videos below!

As always, hosts LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen emceed the event. Although Rogen didn’t show off his lip-syncing skills, he did take the stage wearing a Santa costume and provided funny commentary throughout the show. Rogen had plenty to say about the musical abilities of his co-stars from the Christmas-themed comedy.

Gordon-Levitt first pumped up the crowd with Usher’s “Yeah!,” which features Ludacris and Lil John, but had the actor taking him on all three singing roles while dancing around the stage. After the actor’s performance, Rogen, who was watching from behind, joked, “That was dope. The view from back here was particularly dope,” referring to Gordon-Levitt’s butt.

Mackie was up next and performed an impassioned rendition of Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl.” The actor got a bit overexcited and began gyrating on the stage, to which Rogen later quipped, “I think he got that little chunk of the stage pregnant,” adding, “That was a sexually charged performance.”

In the middle of the show, all three Night Before stars, in tracksuits and gold chains, took the stage to lip sync the classic Run-D.M.C. track, “Christmas in Hollis.” Making a surprise appearance during the performance were the rap group’s two surviving members, Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons and Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels, who joined the actors on stage.

For his second performance, Mackie channeled MC Hammer while lip-syncing “2 Legit 2 Quit.” He first popped out of a box in a white suit, before doing a number of MC Hammer’s moves, backed up by a dozen dancers. Mackie then stripped down to a short spandex unitard, prompting many jokes later about his package.

Gordon-Levitt then dressed like Janet Jackson in a military uniform, along with a baseball cap, ponytail and even bright red lipstick, for a flawless rendition of her hit “Rhythm Nation.” Accompanied by a number of dancers, Gordon-Levitt perfectly nailed each of Jackson’s trademark moves for his second lip sync.

In the end, though, there could only be one winner, and Gordon-Levitt took home the “Lip Sync Battle” holiday special’s championship belt.
