Lindsey Stirling and her partner Mark Ballas were joined by “Dancing With The Stars” season six champion Kristi Yamaguchi for a jazz trio on Monday’s show. They danced their routine to Seth MacFarlane’s song “Let’s Face The Music And Dance” during the show’s quarterfinals. Watch the video below of their performance.

Once again, the violinist and her partner dominated the ballroom floor, with the help this time of Yamaguchi, an Olympic gold medal-winning figure skater. Last week, as Gossip Cop noted, Stirling and Ballas received a solid 27 out of 30 points for their paso double on the Halloween edition of the show. The judges’ comments about the routine, however, seemed to indicate she was going to receive a higher score.

Earlier on Monday’s show, Stirling danced a samba with Ballas to Gregor Salto’s “Morning Drums.” It was one of the two dances they had to prepare. The judges liked her first routine, but they didn’t entirely love it.

Len Goodman felt there were some missteps, but he did find a silver lining, telling the musician, “I thought it was full of rhythm… Well done!” Bruno Tonioli said, “It was avant garde, but I actually liked it.” And Carrie Ann Inaba admitted she also thought Stirling was “unsure” on her feet, but still offered, “You did a fantastic and brilliant samba.” For it, Stirling received 26 out of 30 points.

As for her jazz trio, Inaba expressed, “It was fantastic.” Goodman told her, “That was terrific.” “Well done,” added Tonioli. For it, she got 28 out of a total of 30 points.
