Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas were near perfect on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” semifinals. The musician performed a contemporary routine to Alexander Jean’s “Head High.” Watch Stirling and Ballas’ dance in the video below.

Stirling has been one of the toughest competitors all season. Her drive and determination to win this season’s mirrorball trophy can be witnessed every week on the dance floor. The question that remains is whether she can up her game and beat frontrunner Jordan Fisher.

Last week, while Fisher posted two perfect scores, the violinist put in two respectable performances, but none were as good as his. As Gossip Cop reported, her samba had a number of missteps that were noted by the judges, though each found something positive to say about the dance. Still, it only earned 26 out of a total of 30 points.

Stirling came back a bit strong with her trio dance. Joined by Olympic gymnast and former “Dancing With khe Stars” champ Kristi Yamaguchi, Stirling and Ballas danced a three-person jazz routine. Carrie Ann Inaba thought it was “fantastic,” while Len Goodman called it “terrific.” And Bruno Tonioli similarly shared that he felt it was “well done.” As a result, Stirling was awarded 28 out of 30 points.

For the first of her two dances during the semifinals, Stirling performed a contemporary routine to Alexander Jean’s “Head High.” Following the dance, Inaba remarked, “It was stunning.” Tonioli commented, “I loved it… Well done!” And Goodman said, “You’re a very talented dancer… You really blew me away.” He added, “Really fabulous performance… Great routine!” For her effort, Stirling got 29 out of 30 points.
