Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are not "fighting nonstop" over where to live, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We're told it's "false."

According to Life & Style, which picked up its sister publication In Touch's story and posted it online, Hemsworth isn't as "dazzled" by California as Cyrus is, and it's causing the couple to fight over where they should settle down. A so-called "source" is quoted telling the tabloid that actor from Down Under "doesn't like being surrounded by [entertainment] industry people like Miley does," adding that while she's more than "happy staying put in Malibu," Hemsworth really wants to "raise a family in Australia." The gossip magazine goes on to assert that while the singer shares her fiance's "love for Australia," her "whole life is in California."

The publication's alleged "insider" further contends, "[Cyrus] is willing to take extended trips [to Australia], but she refuses to uproot her entire life." The source claims Cyrus fears that she'll feel "isolated and lonely" living on the far off continent. Meanwhile, Hemsworth "sees how much happier his brother Chris is since putting down roots [in Australia]," especially since their parents and extended family live there, maintains the outlet's questionable tipster.

Gossip Cop fact-checked the magazine's article and it's untrue. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a source close to the couple assures us the story is "false," as Hemsworth and Cyrus are certainly not "fighting nonstop" over where to live. We're told the couple is happy with their lives in California, and enjoy being able to return to Australia whenever they can, such as when Cyrus and Hemsworth had an Australian getaway in January.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth and Cyrus are often spotted enjoying their life together in Malibu. Furthermore, the tabloid is demonstrably wrong when it claims the songstress' "whole life is in California." Last summer, Cyrus bought a farm in the Nashville area. She is clearly fine with residing in various locations and splitting her time in different locales. Simply, the tabloid manufactured drama where there isn't any.

Of course, this isn't the first time Gossip Cop has busted the often discredited outlet for publishing a completely fabricated story about Cyrus and Hemsworth. Interestingly, the tabloid makes no mention of the singer's baby, which she should have already given birth to, based on its May 2017 cover story that wrongly maintained Cyrus was a pregnant bride. Obviously, the couple didn't get married or have a child, as the outlet claimed back then.

And as Gossip Cop noted at the time, that wasn't the first time the repeatedly disproven magazine asserted Cyrus was expecting and tying the knot with Hemsworth. In fact, the tabloid ran that exact same narrative exactly one year before in 2016. Basically, the outlet is very good at coming up with tall tales, including the latest about Hemsworth and Cyrus fighting over where to live, but it has a less than stellar track record with actually being right. Its repeated provably false stories prove Life & Style has little to no insight on the couple at all.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
