A new tabloid report claiming Leslie Jones acts like a “brat” on the set of “Saturday Night Live” is completely false. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this bogus accusation.

An article in the latest issue of Star alleges the comedienne’s ego is out of control and she’s been alienating other cast members of the iconic sketch show. A supposed “NBC source” tells the magazine, “She brags this will be her last season on ‘SNL’ because her movie career is taking off. She says she’s got friends in high places like Jamie Foxx and Chris Rock.”

The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to claim Jones is now in danger of ticking off “SNL” boss Lorne Michaels and getting kicked off the show. “It’s an ensemble show, and it doesn’t work if one person thinks they rule to roost,” says the questionable source. “‘SNL’ keeps her relevant and if she torpedoes that, the rest of her movie career could go with it.”

But Gossip Cop checked in with a trustworthy NBC insider, who exclusively assures us the tabloid’s claim about Jones having a bad attitude is complete “B.S.” We’re told the fan favorite is well-liked by the cast and crew, and the magazine’s claim otherwise is entirely bogus.

It should be noted, this isn’t the first time Star has concocted a phony article about alleged behind-the-scenes drama involving the comedienne. Gossip Cop previously busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Jones feuded with Kristen Wiig while filming the Ghostbusters reboot. We also corrected the magazine’s sister publication, OK!, after it wrongly reported last year that Jones and Kate McKinnon were leaving “SNL.” Obviously, both women are still very much on the show. This latest story about the comedienne being a “brat” is more lies.
