A tabloid claims Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend Camila Morrone is upset that he's still in touch with some of his exes. The story is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
"Leo & Camila's Trust Issues" reads a headline in the latest issue of OK! The accompanying article says the actor still talks to a few of his former girlfriends and has even tried to help them make connections in Hollywood. "He's happy to introduce his exes to people who could help their careers," a supposed source tells the outlet.
The alleged insider goes on to say that Morrone "isn't the jealous type," but she's still frustrated that her boyfriend "refuses to cut ties with his former flings." The seemingly phony source adds, "Leo thinks nothing of taking a call from an ex when they're out together. He insists he's just being friendly, but clearly he also enjoys the attention."
The unreliable tabloid doesn't bother to provide a single name of an ex-girlfriend who DiCaprio is supposedly contacting. It's always a red flag when a magazine keeps its report as vague as possible. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with an individual in the movies star's camp, who tells us the outlet's article is inaccurate. We're assured there hasn't been any tension between DiCaprio and Morrone over his exes.
Unfortunately, we're not surprised by the magazine's bogus story. The movie star's romance has been the subject of a lot of false reports as of late. Last month, Gossip Cop busted a magazine for falsely claiming DiCaprio's girlfriend was accusing him of having an affair with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood co-star Margot Robbie.
Shortly before that nonsense, Gossip Cop debunked a story about DiCaprio becoming inspired to propose to Morrone after seeing Bradley Cooper settle down. Of course, the actor hasn't popped the question to his girlfriend. And back when Al Pacino was dating Morrone's mom, Lucila Sola, Gossip Cop shot down a report claiming the actor warned DiCaprio not to hurt his so-called "stepdaughter." Not only was the story fabricated, but Pacino was never married to the model's mom, so she was never actually his "stepdaughter."
The gossip media has repeatedly proven to have little insight into DiCaprio's romance with his girlfriend. This latest article alleging the actor's exes are coming between them simply isn't true. There's nothing to indicate DiCaprio has been keeping in touch with his former girlfriends, but even if that were the case, there's zero proof that Morrone would feel threatened by it.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
