Did Al Pacino really warn Leonardo DiCaprio not to hurt his "stepdaughter" Camila Morrone? That's the story in one of this week's tabloids. Gossip Cop, however, has exclusively learned there's no truth to it.

DiCaprio, 43 is rumored to be dating 20-year-old model and actress Morrone, whose mom Lucila Sola, 41, is in a relationship with Pacino, 77. This dynamic and the age differences between DiCaprio and Morrone, as well as Pacino and Sola, prompted Woman's Day to concoct an article titled, "Al Warns Leo: Don't Hurt My Stepdaughter!" It should be noted, Pacino isn't married to Morrone's mother, so she's not actually his "stepdaughter." Unfortunately, that factual error is the least of the problems with the magazine's article.

A so-called "source" tells the magazine, "Al and Lucila have a huge age gap too... But Leo has a reputation for being a ladies' man who never wants to settle down, and the last thing Al wants is for Cami to be just another fling." The outlet's questionable source further contends that Pacino "has given Leo a stern talking to and warned him to be respectful" of Morrone.

The seemingly phony tipster concludes, "Al knows about Leo's womanizing ways. If he hurts her, he'll have Al to answer to." But Gossip Cop checked in with a DiCaprio source, who exclusively assures us the tabloid's account of events is completely fabricated. Pacino never confronted him over his relationship with Morrone, nor is he wary of the actor's intentions. This report is pure fiction.

Unfortunately, Woman's Day has a history of publishing tall tales that involve DiCaprio, so we're not surprised by this nonsense. Gossip Cop recently busted a made-up story that alleged Margot Robbie's husband was upset about her reuniting with DiCaprio for the upcoming Quentin Tarantino movie about Charles Manson murders. We also recently debunked the publication when it wrongly reported DiCaprio was flirting with Emma Watson at an Oscar party.

This latest article seems to have been fabricated simply because Pacino is dating the mother of DiCaprio's rumored new girlfriend. The tabloid likely saw the connection as an opportunity to pit the famous actors against each other, but no such situation has occurred.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
