Leonardo DiCaprio does not spend $25,000 a month on his “beauty regimen,” despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim. We’re told it’s “completely false.”
According to the National Enquirer, DiCaprio’s “midlife crisis has him convinced he’s over the hill, forcing the formerly confident Leo to become self-conscious about his ‘dad bod’ and aging looks.” The supermarket tabloid then quotes a so-called “pal” as saying in unnaturally expository language, “After Leo turned 42 in November, he had a mini meltdown. So he started a new beauty regimen that involves twice-a-week facials, including bee-sting facials, which pal Gwyneth Paltrow turned him on to.” The Oscar-winner, alleges the often disproven publication, is “so obsessed with preserving his good looks he has begun to blow a small fortune on high-priced beauty creams, face masks, laser resurfacing, fillers and a nutritionist.”
The magazine then further buries itself by quoting yet another ill-informed or possibly made-up source alleging, “Leo is sparing no expense. He even flies out his eyebrow guru once a month from Australia to shape his brows.” “Leo’s concerned he’s in danger of losing A-list acting roles to younger, hotter leading men,” claims the questionable tipster, adding, “He is also paranoid that the young models who used to throw themselves at him aren’t interested anymore.”
A skeptic reading the Enquirer‘s article might think the tabloid knows very little about DiCaprio. In no particular order, the handsome star, who won an Oscar last year, is not worried about “losing A-list acting roles.” Additionally, DiCaprio is dating 24-year-old Nina Agdal, and is not nervous about models no longer being interested in him.
Also, Gossip Cop already corrected the false rumor about DiCaprio flying an eyebrow specialist in from Sydney, Australia. Of course, that then begs the question, who exactly are the magazine’s sources? One thing we can guarantee is that, despite the publication’s claim of having spoken to a DiCaprio “pal,” no real friends of the actor are yapping to supermarket tabloids. Gossip Cop has covered DiCaprio and his buddies for two decades, and they’re fiercely loyal and not leakers.
That said, as for the claim that he’s spending $25,000 a month on his “beauty regimen,” a mutual friend of ours and DiCaprio assures Gossip Cop it is “completely false.” Sadly, we’re not surprised. This is all coming from the same outlet that Gossip Cop busted when it falsely alleged DiCaprio had fleas nesting in his beard. It’s also the same unreliable publication that wrongly reported a full 10 months ago that Rihanna was pregnant with DiCaprio’s baby. Much like those tall tales and others, the latest article about his supposed beauty routine is also untrue.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
