Lena Dunham Jimmy Fallon Lip Sync Battle

Lena Dunham and Jimmy Fallon had an amazing lip sync battle on Friday’s “Tonight Show.” Watch below!

The late-night host was shocked when his “worthy opponent” came out in a costume (sports gear so she could “flex”), and he admitted to being “nervous” after she recently challenged him to the musical duel. Fallon went first, kicking off the competition with a dramatic performance of Charlene’s “I’ve Never Been To Me,” complete with a prop and a spoken-word inspirational message. “That was beautiful!” Dunham exclaimed afterward.

The “Girls” star followed with Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s “Outside,” for which she had a choreographed routine. That included giving a peek at her underwear and writhing on the stage. Fallon was blown away by the dance moves, before going on to his second and final song, “Run’s House” by Run DMC. The TV personality is never better than when he’s faux-rapping, but Dunham went on to take the game with Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls.” The star was still celebrating on Saturday, tweeting, “Lip sync battling my #1 teenage celebrity crush is now crossed off the to-do list. Luv ya @jimmyfallon.”

And Dunham may have her next match already lined up. Earlier this week, Whoopi Goldberg appeared on “The Tonight Show” and challenged Dunham to face off with her next. As Gossip Cop has reported, Fallon’s previous lip sync battles have featured a number of stars, including John Krasinski, which led the two to spin off the bit for the new Spike series “Lip Sync Battle.” As Gossip Cop noted at the time, Fallon appeared on the series premiere earlier this year, losing to Dwayne Johnson, while Krasinski later lost to Anna Kendrick.
