LCD Soundsystem performed “American Dream” on this week’s “SNL.” The song will be on the band’s upcoming album, due later this year. Earlier, LCD Soundsystem sang “Call The Police” on “SNL.” See the video below of LCD Soundsystem’s performance of “American Dream” on “Saturday Night Live.”

As Gossip Cop previously reported, this is the first time LCD Soundsystem has been the musical guest on the sketch comedy series. Much like “Call The Police,” this also marks the first live TV performance of “American Dream.” The single was officially released on May 5, along with a basic video that featured the song’s vinyl spinning on a record player. So far, around 60,000 people have viewed the video.

After “Saturday Night Live,” LCD Soundsystem heads next weekend to the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta. Following that, they’re set to fill in for Frank Ocean at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in Washington state. In July, the band is booked for a number of festivals in the U.S. and abroad. Stateside, LCD Soundsytem is performing at the Forecastle Festival in Louisville and the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. They’re also lined up for the Splendor in the Grass festival in Australia and Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival.
