Lamar Odom is planning to "destroy" Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's wedding, according to the same webloid that last year lied about Odom and Kardashian hooking up. Gossip Cop can bust this story, just like the last.
"Inside Lamar's Sinister Plans To Destroy Khloe & Tristan's Wedding," RadarOnline is blaring in a headline on Tuesday. According to the site, Odom is "whimpering his regrets about how he treated" Kardashian, and is "hell bent on ruining her upcoming nuptials." A so-called "insider" is quoted as saying, "He hates how Khloe's finally dating a guy who treats her right."
This supposed snitch continues, "It burns Lamar up because however much he wants to deny, the reality is that he's still in love with her and believes they're soul mates who are destined to be together again." The outlet's alleged tipster further contends, "He's clinging to this hope that she's still got feelings for him, which of course is ridiculous, and he's even talking about having a face-to-face with her for closure."
But there's a multitude of problems with this tale, which is entirely fictional. The premise is that Odom supposedly wants to "ruin" Kardashian's "upcoming nuptials," but there's no nuptials in the works. In fact, just days ago, the webloid actually claimed Kardashian was giving Thompson a marriage ultimatum precisely because there wasn't a wedding on the horizon. Now the couple is not only getting married, but Odom is out to "destroy" their special day?
That's the idea presented in the headline and the beginning of the story, but it's not supported by the rest of the article. Nothing specific is said about Odom's "sinister plans" and how, exactly, he plans on "ruining" their (non-existent) wedding. On the contrary, the "insider" merely asserts that Odom wants to meet with Kardashian for "closure." How would that be "destroying" her wedding?
In addition, while this report is all about Odom allegedly being upset that Kardashian has moved on, he's actually said the opposite. In multiple interviews, he's expressed happiness that she's found love, and has said it would not be best for them to get back together. He even told Wendy Williams in June that they should keep their "distance." The basketball player's on-the-record comments go completely against what the site's "insider" claims.
Lastly, more than a year ago, RadarOnline proved it was clueless about Kardashian and Odom when it one day falsely claimed they were "still hooking up," and then the next alleged she wanted to start dating women. Neither contention was true, of course, as Gossip Cop rightly pointed out at the time. The online publication remains just as clueless today, and apparently just as willing to publish nonsensical, contradictory and inaccurate fake news for the sake of sensational clickbait. There is absolutely nothing to support these claims that Kardashian is marrying Thompson, and Odom is planning to "destroy" the wedding. Case closed.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
