Lady Gaga is not dating Christian Carino just to help her acting career, despite a report claiming she’s using the Hollywood talent agent. Gossip Cop can bust the story.

A headline in the new issue of OK! asks, “Gaga’s Romance Just An Act?” In the wake of the couple going public with their romance, the tabloid alleges, “Some in Hollywood are buzzing that the pop star, 31, is after more than just a man.” A so-called “source” asserts to the magazine that Gaga is hoping Carino will “bring her dream of becoming a big-screen star to fruition.”

Gaga “wants it all,” claims the outlet’s supposed snitch. “Movies, TV, Broadway. Christian is dedicating himself to making it happen, so what’s not to love?… Christian is low-key, but behind the scenes he’s an attack dog for his clients.”

So are most Hollywood agents, as that’s part of the job. But OK! makes it seem like Gaga only started dating Carino so he can help her career. But she already snagged a Golden Globe for “American Horror Story” and lined up her starring role in the A Star Is Born remake before their relationship turned romantic. Like many in show business, they happened to be two professionals working together, and a love connection blossomed.

Gaga’s intentions are pure, and the tabloid has a lot of nerve questioning them considering its poor track record when it comes to reporting on the performer. Back in 2014, Gossip Cop busted the publication for falsely claiming Gaga was pregnant. And just last fall, OK! wrongly said Gaga was having a baby on her own.

That was followed this past December by a piece insisting Gaga was “crushing on” Bradley Cooper, her A Star Is Born director and co-star. Funny how none of those things are mentioned in this new article, which a rep for Gaga exclusively tells Gossip Cop is completely “untrue.”
