A tabloid claims Lady Gaga is faking her new romance with sound engineer Dan Horton because she wants to make Bradley Cooper jealous. The story is completely absurd and untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
Last week, Gaga was spotted packing on the PDA with her sound engineer during a lunch date in Los Angeles. At one point during the meal, the singer was photographed standing and bending over to kiss Horton. It's unclear how serious their relationship is or how long it's been going on for, but Star is maintaining it's all for show, and she's secretly pining for her A Star Is Born co-star.
"Gaga was there to make a statement," a supposed source tells the outlet, adding that Cooper is the one who "holds the key to her heart." According to the "insider," the actor hasn't been able to commit to the singer following his recent split from Irina Shayk, so Gaga decided to "show off a new man" in an attempt to get his attention. "Gaga knows how to play the game," adds the suspicious tipster. "She's dating Dan in a bid to make Bradley realize what he's missing."
The tabloid's report is totally fabricated. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Gaga, who wasn't able to speak on the record, but assures us the outlet's article is false. The singer's date with her sound engineer wasn't a ploy to make Cooper jealous. There's nothing fake about Gaga's new romance and her relationship has absolutely nothing to do with her co-star, who's just a close friend.
It should be noted, Star has trouble keeping track of its phony storylines. Back in March, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for falsely claiming Gaga was torn between Cooper and Jeremy Renner. At the time, the publication said the singer was in a love triangle with both actors and couldn't decide which one she wanted to continue dating. In reality, Gaga has never been romantically involved with either man.
Earlier that month, the unreliable outlet swore that Gaga was pregnant and the baby belonged to either Cooper or her ex-fiance Christian Carino. As time has proven, the singer wasn't expecting a child. This latest article makes no mention of that phony scenario.
And in January, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for making up a story about Gaga stealing Cooper from Shayk. Although the actor and the Russian model did split a few months later, it wasn't because his co-star "stole" him away. The tabloid's ongoing saga about Cooper and Gaga is pure fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
