Lady Gaga's friends are not worried she'll become addicted to her fibromyalgia medicine, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this made-up report about her taking too many pills. We're told it's "untrue."
According to OK!, Lady Gaga's pals are concerned the singer is going to get hooked on the medication she takes for the chronic pain condition. After noting how the singer relates in her Netflix documentary Five Foot Two how she takes a number of pills to deal with the pain from having broken her hip a few years ago, and is seen in the film smoking pot, the tabloid quotes a so-called insider as saying that Lady Gaga "never knows when enough is enough." "She overdoes everything," relates the alleged source, before adding, "That's why these meds could prove dangerous."
The same supposed tipster maintains that even though Lady Gaga has tried other remedies, "she says nothing provides relief like a prescription pill." But sometimes she ends up in a "haze" from her pain medicine, asserts the "insider." "It's a bad situation that people fear could quickly escalate if she's not careful," concludes the magazine's questionable source.
So, what pills are the singer taking that are particularly "dangerous"? And which of her "friends" are the most "worried" about her? Not surprisingly, the publication doesn't mention or have answers to either question, and that's because the tabloid seemingly made-up its claims or relied on an untrustworthy "insider." Gossip Cop, however, asked her rep and we're told any assertion that Lady Gaga will become addicted to her fibromyalgia medicine is 100 percent "untrue."
OK! has repeatedly shown that it's not a credible source of information about the singer. More than a year ago, the outlet stated that Lady Gaga was having a baby "on her own." It's also the same tabloid Gossip Cop corrected two years ago when it falsely contended Lady Gaga was going broke. Of course, those claims were untrue, and we've been assured the latest story about the superstar being addicted to her fibromyalgia medication will also not hold up over time.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
