A new story claiming to know how Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott put their baby daughter Stormi Webster to sleep is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can expose this fabricated story, which was posted by the serial fibbers at HollywoodLife. We're told no one close to the couple is feeding the outlet with private information about Jenner and Scott's baby girl.
According to the often discredited website, it's "difficult" as a new parent to know "how to put your baby to sleep," but Jenner and Scott have "found a solution to this common problem." In a purported "exclusive," a so-called "source" is quoted as telling the online publication, "Kylie and Travis have... lost a ton of sleep." The outlet's seemingly fake "insider" asserts that Stormi is "super energetic and getting her down is a bit challenging," but the rapper has a "secret weapon of his own" to get the newborn to "calm down when it's time for bed."
And what exactly is that "secret weapon"? The website's questionable tipster blathers, "[Scott's] swaddling game is on point... and Kylie has been wearing Stormi's swaddles around her shoulders and waist more often so that her scent can be transferred to it." The aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies further quotes its alleged "source" as saying, "It has helped Stormi become extra calm once Travis wraps her in them."
Wait, Scott's supposed "secret weapon" is swaddling? Something virtually every parent does? Basically, HollywoodLies took a common practice for getting newborns to sleep, and pretended to have learned about this trick via a (nonexistent) "source." Without even knowing the couple, it's more than reasonable to assume they're swaddling, which not only helps babies sleep, but also protects them from scratching themselves. This is all Babies 101.
Still, Gossip Cop fact-checked the story, and a source close to Jenner, who wasn't authorized to speak on the record, tells us the article is 100 percent "made-up," and assures us absolutely no one from the couple's trusted inner circle is talking to the website about Stormi. Not surprisingly, this is all coming from the same blog that wasn't entirely sure Jenner was really pregnant and repeatedly referred to her "reported" and "alleged" baby, even in the days leading up to her delivery. It's also the same disreputable outlet that was caught fabricating stories about Tyga helping Jenner during her pregnancy because of Scott's absence.
Of course, those were all lies. And now that it's clear they've stayed together and Scott is taking his parenting seriously, HollywoodLies is doing an about-face and praising the rapper for being a great dad. That site changes its false narratives more than parents change diapers.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
