A story about Kylie Jenner's push present from Travis Scott making her "slam the door" on her romance with Tyga was made-up. Gossip Cop can bust this ridiculous report. The reality star has been committed to Scott for nearly a year. It did not take a new car from him to end her relationship with Tyga.
As Gossip Cop has pointed out, HollywoodLife likes peddling manufactured narratives about Jenner and her love life, usually involving her current beau and former boyfriend. On Thursday, the website is claiming to have the "exclusive scoop" on how Scott's push present is "enough for her to forget about Tyga for good." Picking up on reports that Scott gave Jenner a $1.4 million Ferrari, a so-called "insider" is quoted as saying, "It really proves to her that Travis loves her because this gift was just so perfect for her."
While Jenner does have a known affinity for luxury cars, it makes little sense to allege it took buying her a fancy vehicle for the new mom to realize the father of her child "loves her." The next contention is similarly illogical. The gift, asserts the site's supposed source, "put the nail in the coffin for her and Tyga... She hasn't talked about him once since Travis gave her this car. She's all about Travis again." Gossip Cop wonders once more: Why would it take a Ferrari to make Jenner committed to her partner?
By that (fake) reasoning, if Tyga were to buy Jenner another car now, she would be committed to him again? And if a new man shelled out on new vehicle for her would she dump her daughter Stormi's dad? Of course, Tyga did buy Jenner a $220,000 Maybach for her birthday in 2016 and they're no longer together. So, despite the rightly nicknamed HollywoodLies' basic premise, wheels don't seal deals with Jenner — love and commitment do.
Jenner and Scott has been together since last April, their pregnancy was revealed in September, and she gave birth to their Stormi exactly a month ago. While Jenner and Scott may not be making huge plans for the future, the notion that the "KUWTK" star was waffling between him and her former flame until she was gifted a car is absurd. Gossip Cop also noted the idiocy of HollywoodLies when it alleged just over a month ago that Jenner had "regrets" about getting pregnant with Scott's instead of Tyga's.
The site also maintained in January that Jenner was "open to [a] reconciliation" with Tyga, despite being pregnant with Scott's child. After spinning those tales, the blog now wants readers to think Tyga "may finally be out of [her] life for good" and "all it took was a $1.4 million gift from her baby daddy." It's inane. The truth, which HollywoodLies doesn't seem to know because it apparently doesn't have real sources, is that Jenner has been "done" with Tyga for quite some time.
Tyga even admitted in a recent interview that they've both moved on. He said, "[Jenner] has her new life, I have my new life and that's it." If only this outlet got the memo. Still, even though the online publication now insists Jenner is suddenly moving on, Gossip Cop predicts it's just a matter of time until it reverse courses and starts linking her and Tyga romantically again with its usual lack of substantiation.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
