Kylie Jenner is not “taking revenge” on ex Travis Scott by trying to make him jealous through social media. It’s just another tabloid rumor about the former couple. Gossip Cop can correct the story.
Star is taking aim at the recent breakup between the makeup mogul and hip-hop heavyweight. The two share a daughter, Stormi, and announced their split earlier this month. Although most reports indicate that two maintain a positive (non-romantic) relationship, the tabloid disagrees.
“She’s been flashing her body on Instagram because she wants to make him see what he’s missing,” an anonymous source tells the magazine. “It’s like she wants to send a message that she can have any guy she wants.” The supposed insider doesn’t provide any insight into what exactly makes Jenner’s current posts on social media any different from her posts during their relationship.
Of course, the tabloid simply isn’t content with just Jenner and Scott — it needlessly drags up her ex, Tyga. “Whenever Kylie and Travis are on a ‘break,’ her go-to move is always to hang out with Tyga,” the suspicious source says. “She knows it drives Travis crazy!” The outlet is referencing the swarm of baseless rumors about Jenner and the “Rack City” rapper after she was photographed at the entrance of a studio where Tyga was recording
As we mentioned, it’s effectively impossible to place a date on Jenner and Scott’s separation just by looking through her posts on social media. Her feed is just as “flashy” as it has always been. The tabloid’s suspicious lack of specifics make it clear that this is just a made-up article.
Furthermore, Jenner isn’t focused on “taking revenge” on Scott. A few days after their separation was announced, Jenner took to Twitter to clear the air and correct misinformation about her relationship with her ex. “Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi,” she wrote. “Our friendship and our daughter is priority.”
Jenner also used to Twitter to settle the countless rumors about her and Tyga. “The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is,” the reality star pointed out. “There was no ‘2am date with Tyga.’ You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at.”
Star has an incredibly poor track record when it comes to Jenner and Scott. Gossip Cop called out the tabloid in August 2018 for incorrectly reporting Jenner and Scott were faking their relationship for fame — a claim that makes no appearance in this latest piece about their relationship. Star was also responsible for an outlandish rumor about Jenner and Scott were selling backstage passes to meet Stormi in December 2018. The outlet clearly doesn’t have any idea about the reality of this celebrity relationship.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
