Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott did not break up, despite a new claim. Gossip Cop can bust the allegation. This split story is provably false.
MediaTakeOut is announcing in a headline, "Breaking: Kylie Jenner And Travis Scott Broke Up... Now Kylie's A Single Mama." This is not something the site itself discovered through thorough reporting, or something it even confirmed via trustworthy sources. It is all "according to the folks at Star Magazine." Writes the blog, "The reporters at the mag have been running multiple stories in recent weeks, suggesting that the two were on the verge of breaking up. Now the mag is claiming that the young parents decided to call it quits."
The website then quotes extensively from a Star article, in which it was alleged Scott and Jenner have been "fighting like cats and dogs," and had an argument that supposedly led her to kick him out of their New York hotel. After recounting the tabloid's account, the online publication concludes, "It seems like their time may FINALLY be up." It is apparent the outlet didn't make any attempt to verify these contentions, or do any additional research at all.
If MTO had, it would've seen that Gossip Cop busted this narrative on July 25. The tabloid's tall tale was actually about Jenner and Scott supposedly being headed for a split after their purported argument. Now the site has gone a step further, asserting they've actually broken up due to the alleged fight, which is said to have taken place on July 18. But there is plenty of evidence the couple has remained together since then.
During the weekend of July 21, Scott and Jenner were in Europe together. During the trip, Scott even used Snapchat to share a PDA photo, which showcased the rapper and the makeup mogul cuddling. Obviously, if they had split as the blog alleges, they wouldn't have traveled together, and wouldn't have been showing off their European jaunt on social media, as both stars did.
To be clear, here is the timeline: On July 18, Scott and Jenner allegedly had a fight, a claim that has never been substantiated. Star published an article about that seemingly nonexistent dispute on July 25, asserting it was evidence that they were on the brink of breaking up. That same day, Gossip Cop busted the story, explaining that on the weekend of July 21, after the supposed argument, the couple themselves showed they were still in a committed relationship. Yet in its post on July 29, MediaTakeOut wants readers to think Jenner and Scott split when its only evidence is the debunked Star article, which made no mention of their European trip or social media posts that show they're still together.
It boils down to this: Did Jenner and Scott have a fight on July 18 that led them to break up, as claimed by the website? No. As their own actions show, the couple was very much still together after July 18, and they're still together today. This is now the second time MediaFakeOut, as the outlet is nicknamed, has wrongly alleged Scott and Jenner have split. The publication first made such an untrue contention in June of 2017. More than a year has passed, and the site is still spreading misinformation about the status of their relationship.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
